PALE HORSE: New single, lyrics and album updates
I'm not saying I ripped this directly off my Facebook page. But I ripped this directly off my Facebook page..
Salutations, patrons of all thing high-brow and supersonic.
I think 'it’s been a long time since my last post' is turning into something of a catchphrase for me. Let's pretend I'm more active on my website, Twitter and Instagram, and trying to limit my Facebook posts to new content and significant updates. Go with it.
It’s been a pretty crazy summer! I’ve been busy healing, working, getting back into aikido and, most importantly, recording my second album. I’m hoping to be done recording by December – which would have been four times quicker than the last one. I’m very excited about this, but there’s still a long way to go. Cover art, mastering, blah blah. You know the drill.
yu know dis,
On a more immediate note, I’m working on the music video for the second single off Pale Horse. So, if you haven’t already bought your copy, left a review and told all your cool hipster friends about this “wikkid sikk art rok musician u no”, this will be your chance.
Let’s talk shop. While I buy a lot of albums myself, I appreciate that not everyone does. Few people even buy music; fewer still digest their music in album format. So, it seems I am in the middle of a pretty pathetic Venn diagram.
BUT, rest assured, ye adoring legions. To celebrate the launch of my second single, I will also be releasing the album on Bandcamp, at a significantly reduced rate. I also get to pocket it all myself.
However, if reading this Facebook post has got your chakras boiling, and you’re brimming with violently ecstatic anticipation, I believe it is cheaper on Amazon. I’ve even found a Russian website where you can steal the song, Broken Man. Or .. the whole album ... if you're in .. Ukraine? Whatever. Piracy is the sincerest form of flattery.
Anyway, I’ll keep you all posted. In the meantime, keep an eye on my website, www.harryhouston.com, for more details, blogs and information. I’m also writing up all the lyrics from Pale Horse and will post here once they’re live. I NO DA VOKEL MIX IS NAHT PERFECT ALWAIS K DUN TELL ME.
I’m not sure what the demand is like for information on producing an album, or the business of distributing it – if you’re interested, send me a message and let me know. Or pick up a hard copy of my interview in Follow magazine at http://www.followmagazine.online.
Or … you know … just keep ignoring me. It’s cool.
